The audience for my image set are my peers from the OU and other creatives. I want the audience to feel the balance and calm l felt while taking the images.
Six photographs in the documentary format are stitched together to form a narrative illustrating this idea throughout a day in the life of a city. These images show balance and tranquillity, in an otherwise bustling city.
I have set out to capture these images from late afternoon until dusk in an effort to show the perspective of a bystander passing through. I took these images in a full frame format, but felt that a 1x1 format represented a more equal and balanced perspective.
The intention was to take this group of photos in a candid scenario, to snapshot the everyday reality of life in a city.
